Job summary

CBRE in Auckland is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee a portfolio of 35 retail and 3 corporate locations. You will manage day-to-day FM operations, coordinate maintenance, ensure HSE compliance and maintain the asset register while building strong relationships with clients and contractors.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in facilities management, strong budgeting skills, and proficiency with FM software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management.
• Proficiency in FM applications and related technologies.
• Strong financial acumen, including budget preparation and portfolio cost management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of a portfolio of sites.
• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance.
• Ensure HSE standards and compliance.
• Manage contractor performance and safety documentation.
• Prepare annual Opex/Capex budgets and track spend.
• Lead energy savings initiatives and asset management.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Produce monthly service reports and project pipelines.
• Travel within portfolio as required.
