In Vino NZ Ltd in Napier Central Hawkes Bay is seeking a motivated Wine Sales Person for a contract role. You will promote premium wines, build relationships with traders and customers, and drive sales across regional accounts.

This position offers flexible contract work with opportunities to grow wine knowledge, attend tastings, and represent our brand with professionalism. You will travel regionally and manage CRM records to meet targets and deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, preferably within wine/beverage or hospitality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
• Willingness to develop knowledge of wine regions, varietals and production.

Responsabilités

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the Napier Central Hawkes Bay region to grow the customer base.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their wine preferences.
• Present and demonstrate wine products, highlighting quality, origin and characteristics.
• Achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs through effective sales techniques and account management.
• Provide expert product knowledge and recommendations to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Manage inquiries and resolve complaints professionally to maintain brand reputation.
• Document sales activities and customer interactions for reporting purposes.
• Attend wine tastings and industry events to enhance brand visibility and engage customers.
• Collaborate with sales team and other departments to ensure seamless order processing and delivery.
