Job summary

Lighthouse is seeking a Sales Manager to own the mortgage side of the top-of-funnel sales process and lead a customer success function. The role focuses on rapid lead contact, effective qualification and guiding customers through early mortgage journeys, while building scalable processes.

In addition to driving conversions, you will maintain ongoing customer relationships, gather feedback and identify opportunities to extend support across the company’s broader financial services offerings.

Qualifications

• Phone-based, high-volume sales experience.
• Articulate communication and rapport-building.
• Autonomy with ownership of a business-critical function.
• Ability to take initiative and drive outcomes without micromanagement.
• Methodical and detail-oriented with CRM discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of inbound mortgage leads each month, responding quickly and consistently to maximise conversion.
• Build rapport, understand customer needs, pre-qualify opportunities and progress suitable customers to the mortgage adviser.
• Create a proactive customer success journey, providing regular check-ins, gathering feedback and resolving service issues throughout the lending process.
• Re-engage existing customers and identify opportunities to connect them with the company’s wider services.
• Improve sales processes, customer touchpoints and CRM workflows to increase speed, consistency and visibility across the pipeline.
• Support referral partner relationships and help build, resource and lead a scalable sales and customer success function.
