Job summary

Crown Lift Trucks New Zealand is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Auckland-based team. You will support our field operations with planned maintenance and later on-site repairs for a range of mechanical and battery-electric forklifts, in a dynamic customer-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in automotive or material-handling equipment, a relevant trade qualification, strong problem-solving and IT literacy, and willingness to travel with overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' Automotive experience (auto electrical, motor mechanical or battery electric) or Material Handling Equipment experience.
• Relevant trade qualification (or similar overseas qualification).
• Customer-centric and solutions-focused attitude; team player and willing to support colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Performing field based planned maintenance repairs on forklift trucks.
• Eventually performing field based non-scheduled repairs on forklift trucks.
• Provide a high level of customer service and work towards KPIs.
• Undertaking service and repairs within OEM guidelines.
