Job summary

Crown Lift Trucks New Zealand seeks an experienced technician to service and repair a wide range of forklifts across Auckland. You’ll split time between field and workshop work, learning Crown products and delivering dependable service to customers.

The role includes on-call duties with overtime opportunities after 40 hours and a clear path for skill growth within a large organisation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' material handling equipment experience or Auto Electrical/Battery Electric/Motor Mechanic experience.
• Trade qualification or hydraulics experience considered relevant.
• Customer-centric and solutions-focused attitude.
• Team player with IT literacy and quick learner.
• Must pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing and hold a valid driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform field-based or site-based repairs and maintenance on a large fleet of forklifts across the assigned area.
• Work through the workshop when required and learn Crown product lines.
• Provide reliable service to customers and support business goals.
• Take on-call duties and overtime opportunities when scheduled.
