Job summary

Crown Lift Trucks New Zealand is seeking a field-based maintenance technician to service a range of mechanical battery electric and internal combustion forklifts in the Auckland region. The role involves planned maintenance, and eventually non-scheduled repairs, with a strong focus on customer service.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of automotive or material handling equipment experience, a relevant trade qualification, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' automotive experience or material handling equipment experience.
• Prefer relevant trade qualification (or overseas qualification).
• Customer-centric and solutions-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform field-based planned maintenance on forklifts in accordance with SOPs.
• Eventually perform field-based non-scheduled repairs on forklifts.
• Provide high level customer service and meet KPIs.
• Undertake service and repairs within OEM guidelines.
