Job summary

Crown Lift Trucks New Zealand is seeking a permanent, full-time Field Service Technician based in Auckland to support our teams in the South-East Auckland region. You’ll perform planned maintenance and later non-scheduled repairs on a broad range of mechanical battery electric and internal combustion forklifts, developing hands-on skills across models.

The role emphasizes customer service, KPI delivery, and working within OEM guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years automotive experience (auto electrical, motor mechanical or battery electric) or Material Handling Equipment experience.
• Trade qualification or equivalent overseas qualification.
• Customer-focused and solutions-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to travel with regular overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Performing field based planned maintenance repairs on mechanical battery electric and internal combustion Forklift trucks in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Eventual field based non-scheduled repairs on mechanical battery electric and internal combustion Forklift trucks.
• Provide a high level of customer service and work towards set KPIs each day
• Undertaking service and repairs within OEM guidelines
