The Co-operative Bank Limited is seeking an experienced learning leader to drive capability and lead the Learning team. This 10-month fixed-term parental leave cover will maintain delivery of our learning strategy to support customer outcomes, regulatory requirements and our Future Bank Strategy.

You will work across the organisation, partnering with leaders to identify capability needs, oversee learning frameworks and provide strategic advice on learning and development against governance

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a Learning and Development function or team.
• Experience developing and implementing learning strategies, frameworks and capability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Bank's Learning function and ensure delivery of the learning strategy.

About the role

Aspart of our People & Culture team, you'll lead the Bank's Learning functionwhile providing parental leave cover for our Learning Manager. You'll beresponsible for maintaining delivery of our learning strategy and priorities,ensuring employees have access to the skills, knowledge and developmentopportunities needed to support customer outcomes, regulatory requirements andour Future Bank Strategy.

Workingacross the organisation, you'll partner with leaders to identify capabilityneeds, oversee our learning frameworks and systems, and provide strategicadvice on learning and development. This is an exciting opportunity toinfluence workforce capability while ensuring continuity of key programmes,stakeholder relationships and learning governance activities.

Thisis a 10 month fixed-term parental leave cover opportunity based at our Wellington Head Office.

You’ll bring the following experience to the table:

• Proven experience leading a Learning and Developmentfunction or team, ideally within a complex or regulated environment
• Strong experience developing and implementing learningstrategies, frameworks and capability initiatives that deliver measurableoutcomes
• Experience working with learning management systems,learning governance, reporting and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication andinfluencing skills, with the ability to balance strategic, operational andregulatory priorities.
