Job summary

Sofitel Queenstown Hotel & Spa is seeking guest-focused Front Office team members who embody warmth, elegance and personalised care. Respond to guest requests during reservations, check-in/out and throughout their stay, delivering service that exceeds expectations.

A luxury setting requires prior Reservation/Front Office experience, knowledge of Opera or similar booking systems, a valid NZ driver’s license, weekend availability and working rights for New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Previous Reservation/Front Office experience in a five-star luxury environment.
• Knowledge of Opera or other booking system.
• Full, clean valid manual driver’s license preferred.
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays.
• Must have working rights for New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a professional and attentive service is provided and guest expectations are exceeded.
• Respond to guest requests promptly, efficiently and courteously during reservations, arrival & check in, departure & check out, and throughout their stay.
• With your passion for high end hospitality and superb eye for detail, you will take initiative to ensure that all of your interactions are positive and productive and in line with Sofitel service standards
• Have the freedom and creativity to deliver memorable moments that provide treasured guest experiences.
