Job summary

Rosewood Matakauri in Queenstown is seeking a Front Office Agent to welcome guests from arrival to departure. This dynamic role blends front-of-house administration with on-the-ground guest support, including managing arrivals/departures and coordinating reservations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a guest-facing or front office role, ideally in luxury hospitality.
• Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
• Professional manner, in person and on the phone.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise and stay calm under pressure.
• Full driver's licence and good physical fitness.

Responsibilities

• Central communication point for the hotel.
• Manage guest arrivals and departures with warmth and efficiency.
• Coordinate room reservations and guest correspondence.
• Assist with guest activities and lodge experiences.
• Collate guest accounts, balance daily audits, and complete admin tasks.
• Assist with luggage, valet parking and guest vehicles.
• Support the wider lodge team with operational tasks.
