Job summary

The Warehouse Auckland is seeking a vigilant Loss Prevention Officer to help prevent theft and keep staff and customers safe. Hours of work: Sunday & Monday 12:00pm – 8:15pm; Tuesday 5:15pm – 8:15pm, with shifts in-store.

Key duties include monitoring security cameras, maintaining a visible presence on the shop-floor, engaging with customers to address concerns, and uploading events to the crime reporting platform.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles is beneficial but not required.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.

Qualifications

He kōrero mōu ake - About you

Experience in a customer-facing role, such as retail or hospitality, would be beneficial but is not required. Ideally, you will have good communication skills and a positive attitude, along with a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods.

Additionally, experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation, along with the ability to stay calm under pressure, would be beneficial.
