Job summary

Foodstuffs South Island Limited is seeking a motivated store leader to manage a department with a strong focus on range, promotions, and customer service in New Zealand.

You will report to the store owner and drive category management, supplier relations, and staff development while upholding food safety and workplace safety standards.

Reporting directly to the store Owner you will be accountable for:

• Employing up to date category management principles for deciding the stores range of product and product placement in store.
• Developing and implementing a store specific promotional program to compliment the group promotions.
• Ensuring the financial targets of the department are met
• Maintaining an excellent relationship with suppliers and manufactures
• Leading, training and developing departmental staff
• Ensuring the stores processes, Food safety & Workplace Safety requirements are adhered too.

This is a permanent full time position Sunday to Thursday of 40- 45 hours per week with 6 am starts.
