We are seeking a reliable and experienced Store Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our liquor store in Panmure, Auckland. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a minimum of 30 hours per week, with pay ranging from $29 to $35 per hour, depending on experience.

You will be responsible for the below list of duties:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the store.
• Determine product range, stock levels, and customer service standards.
• Manage purchasing, pricing, and stock availability.
• Plan and implement sales, marketing, and promotional activities.
• Assist customers with product enquiries and purchases.
• Maintain records of stock, sales, and financial transactions.
• Prepare budgets and monitor operating costs.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and manage staff.
• Monitor sales performance and ensure smooth store operations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant licensing requirements, workplace health and safety standards, and applicable regulations.

Ideally, you will have the following attributes:

• Have at least 2-year relevant experience, or have a relevant Diploma or above qualification in Business/commerce/management/sales or relevant field
• Must hold a current LCQ (Licence Controller Qualification) or be eligible to obtain one.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a busy retail environment.
• Must be available to work rostered shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
• A responsible and professional attitude towards the sale and supply of alcohol is essential.
