Job summary

Super Freight is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to coordinate and despatch daily transport operations in a fast-paced environment in New Zealand. You will work closely with drivers and customers to meet delivery schedules and maintain high service levels.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving and time-management abilities, with familiarity in transport systems and GPS. A proactive, reliable team player is essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics or despatch coordination.
• Excellent communication with drivers and customers.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Reliable, organised and able to work under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good computer skills and able to learn new systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Experience with Saphire or Translogix is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Planning and despatching transport operations.
• Coordinating drivers and daily linehaul movements.
• Providing excellent customer service and communication.
• Monitoring jobs and keeping customers and drivers updated.
• Using GPS, messaging and transport/despatch systems.
• Prioritising workloads and managing changing requirements.
