Job summary

Team Global Express NZ is seeking a Dispatcher in Hamilton to coordinate daily transport activities, work with drivers and customers, and keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. You will monitor fleet utilization, respond to changing priorities, and contribute to KPI improvements while ensuring safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in transport/logistics, knowledge of costing, and a forklift license (OSH preferred).

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in the transport/logistics industry.
• Knowledge of operational costing.
• Proven ability in leading Health and Safety initiatives.
• Forklift license with OSH is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods practice and procedure.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice and Transport law.
• Geographical knowledge of the Central North Island.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance and fleet presentation requirements.
• Resolve internal and external customer issues to raise satisfaction.
• Assist with KPI improvement and reporting.
• Ensure health and safety compliance across operations.
• Efficiently allocate and use fleet and drivers.
• Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.
• Manage fleet, drivers and dispatching activities.
