Job summary

Super Freight is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to coordinate and despatch daily transport operations in a fast-paced environment in New Zealand. You will work closely with drivers and customers to meet delivery schedules and maintain high service levels.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving and time-management abilities, with familiarity in transport systems and GPS. A proactive, reliable team player is essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics or despatch coordination.
• Excellent communication with drivers and customers.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Reliable, organised and able to work under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good computer skills and able to learn new systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Experience with Saphire or Translogix is an advantage.

This is a busy and varied role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced transport environment, can think on their feet, and works well with both drivers and customers.

• Has previous experience in a transport, logistics or despatch coordination role
• Has excellent communication skills and enjoys dealing with drivers and customers
• Has a positive attitude and works well as part of a team
• Is reliable, organised and able to work under pressure
• Has strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Has good computer skills and is comfortable learning new systems
• Has excellent attention to detail and time-management skills
• Saphire / Translogix experience would be an advantage
