• Proven customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience in dispatch coordination or fleet scheduling, preferably in a logistics or waste management environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with drivers and customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Dispatch Coordinator or experienced Office Administrator to join our team on a fixed-term, full-time basis, covering maternity leave for a minimum of six months, starting in late October. As a Despatch Coordinator at WM New Zealand, you will play a crucial role in the efficient coordination of fleet scheduling, driver management, and supporting the branch with administration tasks. Your responsibilities will involve dispatching jobs ensuring customer needs are met, balancing driver workloads, monitoring routes and ensuring timely completion of tasks while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
