Gladstone School invites applications for a Learning Support Coordinator to lead and develop learning support for students with diverse needs, ensuring they can thrive. In this classroom-released role you will design and monitor tailored programmes, coordinate IEPs and ESOL referrals, build strong partnerships with whānau and staff, and foster an inclusive, wellbeing‑focused school culture.

• Student support – Designing and monitoring tailored learning programmes and ensuring pastoral care and wellbeing for students with special needs.
• Collaboration and relationships – Building strong, positive partnerships with students, whānau, staff, and external specialists to provide effective, inclusive support.
• Professional contribution – Leading professional learning for staff, modelling the school’s vision and values, and contributing to wider school life.

The learning support coordinator is a classroom-released position, but may work in the classroom as required. You will lead and manage the Learning Support Programme, ensuring students with diverse learning needs are supported to succeed.
