Job summary

Target Road School in Auckland is seeking an experienced SENCO or Learning Support Coordinator to join our kura in 2027. The role focuses on supporting inclusive education for Years 1–8 and is designed for someone who can work collaboratively with whānau, kaiako, our leadership team and outside agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience as SENCO or Learning Support Coordinator.
• Ability to work collaboratively with whānau, kaiako, leadership and outside agencies.
• Proven ability to manage complex situations with empathy and kindness.
• Strong record-keeping and administrative organization.
• Efficient time management and solutions-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead SENCO/LSC duties to support inclusive education for Years 1–8.
• Coordinate and monitor student support plans and interventions.
• Liaise with whānau, kaiako and external agencies to coordinate services.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting for learners and supports.
