Belmont School (Auckland) seeks a proactive Learning Support Coordinator to join our team on a 0.8 FTE basis. You will identify learning needs early and coordinate targeted supports with a focus on inclusivity and evidence-based practice.
You will work closely with teachers, parents/whānau, RTLB, MoE specialists and external agencies to build staff capability and ensure smooth transitions, guided interventions, and strong records management.

We are seeking a relational, skilled, and collaborative Learning Support Coordinator (LSC) to join our school team at 0.8 FTTE.
As our LSC, you will play a pivotal role in identifying learner needs early, coordinating targeted supports, and building teacher capability to ensure every tamariki thrives, belongs, and achieves. Sitting closely with our leadership team, you will act as a bridge between classroom teachers, parents/whānau, RTLB, Ministry of Education specialists, and external agencies.
You will coach and build staff capability in inclusive, evidence-based teaching practices. You will build trusting, culturally responsive partnerships with parents and whānau. You will also manage learning support records, lead transitions, and guide tiered intervention strategies across the school.
You will need to demonstrate previous experience/qualifications/professional development in learning support.
Role commences January 2027.
