Job summary

New Zealand Post Group seeks a Continuous Improvement Specialist - Processing to lead CI initiatives across its national Processing network. You will work with operational leaders and frontline teams to embed Lean Six Sigma, process optimisation and sustainable improvements that enhance safety, service, quality and efficiency.

You will analyse complex processes, design improvements and coach teams in problem solving, Lean thinking and standardized ways of working to deliver measurable outcomes

Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher, Black Belt preferred
• Experience delivering Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence initiatives within processing, manufacturing, logistics or similar operational environments
• Strong capability in process analysis, design and optimisation
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship management skills
• Confident working in complex, fast-paced operational environments
• Ability to turn data and insights into practical, measurable improvements
• BPM certification or related experience is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across Processing operations
• Analyse, redesign and optimise operational processes to improve performance
• Support leaders and teams to identify and solve operational challenges
• Embed Operational Excellence practices and standardised ways of working
• Monitor performance and ensure sustainable improvement outcomes
• Coach teams in structured problem solving, Lean thinking and CI methodologies
