The ideal applicant holds a BEng or BSc in Civil/Structural Engineering and Pr.Eng registration with ECSA, with at least nine years in building design. Leadership, client engagement, and risk mitigation are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering as required.
• Pr.Eng registration with ECSA is mandatory.
• Minimum 9 years in structural engineering, building design focus.
• Experience with structural analysis software and CAD tools.
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete, steel, masonry design and construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis from concept through completion.
• Oversee engineers/technicians and ensure design quality.
• Develop detailed designs, calculations, drawings, specifications.
• Ensure compliance with SANS and building codes/regulations.
