The role supports remote-enabled collaboration across SA and NZ project sites, with travel to Queenstown or sites as needed. You will mentor juniors, develop drawings, and coordinate with architects and clients.

Requires Master's in Structural/Civil Eng, Pr. Eng.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering with specialization.
Pr. Eng. registration with ECSA is mandatory.
Minimum 7 years of experience in structural design and analysis.
Proficiency in SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro or similar software.

Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design for various structures using advanced software.
Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and reports.
Ensure designs comply with SANS codes, building regs, and international standards.
Collaborate with architects, other engineering disciplines and clients.
Conduct structural assessments and provide recommendations for existing structures.
Review construction drawings and provide technical support during construction.
Manage structural engineering tasks within project timelines and budgets.
Stay updated with latest advancements in structural software and methods.
Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians.
