Job summary

Ergo Consulting is seeking a Team Lead to spearhead the Structural Engineering division in New Zealand. You will lead a mid-size team of engineers, directing projects from concept to completion including feasibility, detailed design, load calculations, and seismic analysis.

The role requires mentoring junior staff, strong client communication, and collaboration with CAD, PM, and power systems to deliver robust engineering solutions. A NZ qualification in structural engineering is ideal.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of structural engineers.
• Proven ability to deliver structural projects from concept to delivery.
• Strong communication and client-facing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead an experienced team of structural engineers with day-to-day guidance.
• Oversee structural design from concept through detailed design and seismic analysis.
• Engage with energy sector clients, develop technical proposals, QA.
• Collaborate with CAD drafting, project management, and power systems teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with Ergo's clients.
