Job summary

Robert Half Technology in Auckland, NZ is seeking a hands-on IT Leader to manage a team of six technicians and own the technology environment across infrastructure, cloud, and security. Reporting to the CTO, you will balance people leadership with direct technical involvement to deliver practical solutions that drive growth and operational excellence.

You'll partner with business leaders, drive cloud initiatives, and manage vendors to ensure secure, scalable services and a strong IT roadmap

Qualifications

Experience leading and mentoring a team of IT professionals.
Hands-on leader who can contribute directly to technical work.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Azure.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of six IT professionals, creating a high-performing, customer-focused culture.
Own the organisation's technology environment across infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and end-user services.
Partner with business leaders to deliver technology solutions that enable growth and operational excellence.
Drive technology projects, platform improvements and cloud initiatives, ensuring secure and scalable systems.
Manage technology vendors and service providers, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Shape the IT roadmap with strategic planning and hands-on leadership as needed.
