Job summary

The Boundary is seeking a proactive IT Systems Administrator for our New Zealand operations in Auckland. You will own the local infrastructure, deliver hands-on support, manage budgets, and ensure secure, reliable systems in collaboration with our global IT team and the NZ CTO.

This high-impact role requires expertise across Windows workstations and servers, AD/Entra ID/Intune, Google Workspace, networking, storage, and security hygiene.

Qualifications

• Hands-on support for Windows workstations, servers, networks, and shared storage.
• Experience with Microsoft AD/Entra ID/Intune and Google Workspace.
• Strong problem‑solving, documentation, and ability to work with non-technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain local server, network (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls) and virtualisation.
• Provide end-user IT support and manage hardware lifecycle.
• Manage identity, access, and security across MS and Google environments.
• Support render nodes and production IT for creative workflows.
• Budget, procurement, asset management and vendor coordination.
• Create technical docs and onboarding guides; improve local systems.
