Take ownership of a strong Queenstown territory with qualified leads, autonomy and uncapped earning potential.
We’re recruiting for one of New Zealand’s longest-established interiors businesses, looking for a commercially driven Sales Consultant to join its Central Otago team.
This is a field-based sales role centred around Queenstown, Frankton, Arrowtown and the wider Central Otago market.
You’ll have the advantage of established marketing and qualified enquiries, but this role is not simply about servicing incoming leads.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys developing business, building a network and closing sales.
If you’re the type of salesperson who responds quickly, follows up relentlessly and enjoys turning relationships into revenue, this could be a very strong move.
You’ll work directly with homeowners across one of New Zealand’s most active residential markets, helping customers select tailored curtains, blinds and shutter solutions for new builds, renovations and existing homes.
You’ll manage the customer relationship from the first consultation through to installation.
Your week will include:
Product knowledge can be taught.
What we need is someone who already understands how to sell.
You might currently work in:
The industry matters less than your ability to build trust, uncover opportunities and confidently ask for the business.
You’ll also need to be comfortable being out in the market rather than sitting behind a desk.
You’ll join an established business with the infrastructure to help you succeed, including:
The role is heavily focused on the Queenstown market, with customers throughout Frankton, Arrowtown and the surrounding Central Otago region.
For that reason, candidates already based in or within practical commuting distance of the Queenstown area will be strongly preferred.
This is a good opportunity for an established salesperson who wants to get away from rigid retail hours or corporate territory structures and take greater ownership of their earning potential.
You’ll have leads coming in, a recognised brand behind you and the freedom to create additional business through your own relationships and network.
For someone who likes to hunt, build relationships and close, there is considerable upside.
Applicants must currently have the legal right to work in New Zealand. Visa sponsorship is not available.
