Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or similar role.
• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and customer service software.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model, with scheduled time in the Queenstown office.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A calm and patient demeanor when dealing with customer concerns.
• Familiarity with utility services or billing is an advantage.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding utility services via phone, email, and in-person.
• Provide clear explanations of billing, service disruptions, and account information.
• Assist customers with new service applications, transfers, and disconnections.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and service issues.
• Process payments and provide receipts for transactions.
• Educate customers on energy/water saving tips and available programs.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments when necessary.
