Job summary

Green by Nature is seeking an experienced, commercially driven Business Development Specialist to build a high-quality and predictable sales funnel. This hands-on role focuses on identifying, qualifying, and converting early-stage opportunities into credible commercial prospects ready for progression.

You will take full ownership of Gate -1 and Gate 0 of our Business Development funnel, developing and validating right opportunities through to Gate 1 before handing over to the Business

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritise target sectors, companies, and decision-makers aligned with Green by Nature's service offering
• Open doors through targeted research, LinkedIn outreach, professional networking, warm introductions, and confident cold calling
• Convert early conversations, referrals, and inbound leads into credible, well-qualified commercial opportunities
• Validate each opportunity at Gate 1 by confirming the following criteria:
• Customer need and service fit
• Stakeholder access and engagement
• Opportunity value and commercial potential
• Likely work-start date
• Buying process and decision-making structure
• Competitive landscape
• Clear and agreed next action
