Job summary

Green by Nature is seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist to build a high-quality, predictable sales funnel. This hands-on role focuses on identifying, qualifying, and converting early-stage opportunities into credible commercial prospects for progression.

You will own Gate -1 and Gate 0 of the BD funnel, validating criteria before handing over to the Business Development Manager. A proactive, process-driven approach and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or lead generation.
• Strong prospecting across multiple channels including cold calling, LinkedIn and networking.
• Ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Structured, process-driven approach to opportunity qualification.
• Excellent communication, listening and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritise target sectors, companies and decision-makers.
• Open doors via research, LinkedIn outreach, networking and cold calling.
• Convert conversations and referrals into qualified opportunities.
• Validate opportunities at Gate 1 with criteria and prepare handover to BDM.
• Support account intelligence as opportunities progress through the funnel.
