Job summary

Green by Nature is seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist to build a high-quality and predictable sales funnel. This hands-on front-end role focuses on identifying, qualifying, and converting early-stage opportunities into credible prospects for progression.

You will own Gate-1 and Gate-0, develop opportunities, validate criteria, and hand over to the BD Manager with clear next actions, while supporting account intelligence as progress continues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or lead generation.
• Strong prospecting skills across multiple channels including cold calling, LinkedIn, and networking.
• Ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritise target sectors, companies, and decision-makers aligned with Green by Nature's service offering.
• Open doors through targeted research, LinkedIn outreach, professional networking, warm introductions, and confident cold calling.
• Convert early conversations, referrals, and inbound leads into credible, well-qualified commercial opportunities.
• Validate each opportunity at Gate 1 by confirming customer need, stakeholder access, value, and potential.
• Deliver a live, evidence-based handover to the Business Development Manager upon reaching Gate 1.
