Job summary

Rosewood Matakauri in Queenstown seeks a Front Office Agent to welcome guests and ensure memorable stays from arrival to departure. This is a dynamic role combining front‑of‑house administration with hands‑on guest support in a luxury lodge setting.

You should have at least 1 year in a guest‑facing or front office role, excellent organisational and communication skills, a professional manner, and a valid driver’s licence. OPERA Cloud experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a guest-facing or front office role in luxury hospitality.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Professional manner in person and on the phone.
• Ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure.
• Immaculate personal presentation.
• Full driver’s licence and good physical fitness.
• OPERA Cloud experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central communication point for the hotel.
• Manage guest arrivals and departures with warmth and efficiency.
• Coordinate room reservations and guest correspondence.
• Assist with guest activities and lodge experiences.
• Balance daily audits and complete administrative tasks.
• Assist with guest luggage, valet parking, and maintain guest vehicles.
• Support the wider lodge team with operational tasks.
