Job summary

Consult Recruitment is seeking a finance transformation lead to design and deliver Workday finance workstreams across complex client projects, from discovery through deployment and optimisation.

You will own workshops with senior finance stakeholders, translate business requirements into system solutions, mentor consultants and contribute to growing the finance technology practice in a flexible hybrid Auckland environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Workday Financial Management or other major cloud-based finance platforms.
• Strong knowledge of core finance processes and ERP implementations.
• Experience owning a finance module or significant ERP component.
• Exposure to full implementation lifecycle from discovery to deployment.
• Ability to engage senior finance stakeholders and facilitate workshops.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance transformation workstreams from discovery through design, configuration, testing, deployment and optimisation.
• Work across finance areas (GL, R2R, P2P, expenses, AR, banking, fixed assets, projects, reporting).
• Translate business requirements into practical system solutions and ensure cohesive processes and data flows.
• Run workshops with finance leaders and stakeholders; provide design options and recommendations.
• Mentor consultants, review outputs, and maintain high delivery standards.
