Job summary

Deloitte New Zealand is seeking a Manager in Finance Transformation to lead client engagements in Auckland. You will shape future-state operating models, drive automation and governance, and mentor consultants across multiple finance processes.

The role combines strategic advisory work with hands-on delivery, requiring strong stakeholder management and a track record of delivering complex finance transformations for clients.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years experience in Finance Transformation, Finance Advisory, Technology Transformation, or related finance leadership role.
• 2–6 years experience leading finance transformation engagements within a consulting Big-4 environment.
• Strong understanding of finance operating models, shared services, global business services, and finance process design.
• Expertise across Source-to-Pay, Procure-to-Pay, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Record-to-Report, and related finance processes.
• Experience supporting ERP or finance technology transformation programmes, including SAP, Oracle, Ariba, ServiceNow.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse current-state processes and design future-state operating models and workflows.
• Proven stakeholder management experience with senior finance and business leaders.
• Excellent communication, workshop facilitation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end finance transformation projects across assessment, design, implementation, and change phases.
• Partner with finance leadership to design future-state operating models for efficiency and governance.
• Facilitate workshops and interviews to map current processes and improvement opportunities.
• Drive standardisation, automation, and shared services initiatives in finance functions.
• Support ERP and finance technology programmes, including SAP, Oracle, Ariba, ServiceNow.
• Manage project delivery, budgets, resources, risks, and quality outcomes across engagements.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and contribute to business development.
