Job summary

NCR Voyix is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain and repair POS and related equipment across a defined territory. The role involves travel, site preparation, and on-site problem resolution to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, strong computer and hardware skills, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent years of related experience.
• Basic Computer skills to include Windows OS navigation and basic familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience in PC Hardware Maintenance and support; able to work with minimal supervision; good problem-solving skills.
• High level of mechanical/electrical aptitude; experience maintaining computer hardware and network gear.
• Must be able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, overtime, flex shifts, and on-calls; clean driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment within an assigned territory to ensure continuity of customer operations and high customer satisfaction.
• May work outside assigned area to cover for colleagues and during demand peaks.
• Own customer problems until resolved per SLA and customer satisfaction.
• Diagnose, repair, and replace components on equipment including POS, servers, peripherals.
• Install new or upgrade existing equipment in line with the SOW and assist in site preparation.
