Job summary

BNZ is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager (Transact) to shape engineering excellence across BNZ Technology and to lead the CLR Programme Transact capability as it scales across Business Term Lending, Home Lending and related domains. You will work with across Consumer Product & Services, platform and delivery teams to align practices with technology objectives.

You will mentor engineers, drive the adoption of engineering standards, and use data-driven metrics to improve performance,

Qualifications

Proven track record leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
Strong experience defining engineering standards and practices.
Experience with scale, reliability, and compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities

Define and embed engineering standards that drive quality, efficiency and consistency across BNZ Technology.
Lead and develop the CLR Programme Transact capability as it scales across lending domains.
Collaborate with product, platform and programme teams to align engineering practices with business goals.
Use engineering metrics and data to identify opportunities for improvement and drive outcomes.
Mentor and develop engineers, fostering learning and knowledge sharing.
Drive improvements in scalability, reliability and maintainability of systems and solutions.
Identify engineering risks and implement solutions to support stability and compliance.
