Job summary

ATT are seeking an Electrical Apprentice for an immediate start in Invercargill. You’ll train while you work, with wage progression as you gain skills, and long-term career opportunities in a growing industry.

Applicants should have basic tool use, reliable transport, and a clean record. NZ permanent resident or citizen status is required, with good math skills (NCEA L2) and physics study preferred.

Job description

ATT are seeking an Electrical Apprentice for an immediate start!

You’ll need to:

• Be reliable – on time every time
• Have some job experience - whether that’s labouring experience, or holiday jobs
• Be good with your hands – you know how to use tools
• Have your driver’s license (Restricted or Full) with reliable transport to get to work
• Have a clean criminal record
• Be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests
• Be a NZ permanent resident or citizen
• Have an insight into the Electrical trade. Very good at math (at least NCEA L2) and preferably have studied physics. Maybe you have completed an electrical pre-trade course or have completed an Electrical gateway placement while at school (but this is not mandatory)
