Job summary

ATT is offering electrical apprenticeships in New Zealand. We are looking for reliable hands-on individuals who want to learn while earning, with relevant math or pre-trade background.

You will train with tradespeople, gain PPE, toolkit, and a clear career path, with support from ATT area managers. Eligibility includes NZ residency or citizenship, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass pre-employment tests.

Qualifications

• Be reliable and punctual.
• 2nd year in electrical or pre-trade with some job experience.
• Good with hands and able to use tools.
• Have driver's license (Restricted or Full) with reliable transport.
• Clean criminal record.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests.
• NZ permanent resident or citizen.
• Strong interest in the Electrical trade; math ability and physics helpful; possibly completed electrical pre-trade course or gateway placement.

We're looking for intelligent, hands-on candidates interested in Electrical apprenticeships in

You’ll need to:

• Be reliable - on time every time
• Either a 2nd year or have a pre-trade and have some job experience - whether that's labouring experience, or holiday jobs
• Be good with your hands - you know how to use tools
• Have your driver's license (Restricted or Full) with reliable transport to get to work
• Have a clean criminal record
• Be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests
• Be a NZ permanent resident or citizen
• Have an insight into the Electrical trade. Very good at math (at least NCEA L2) and preferably have studied physics. Maybe you have completed an electrical pre-trade course or have completed an Electrical gateway placement while at school (but this is not mandatory)
