Job summary

LiveHire Limited in Hamilton is looking for a 2nd year electrical apprentice, or someone with a pre-trade and practical experience, ready to handle commercial and maintenance work on site.

You’ll train with skilled tradespeople, earn a regular wage while you learn, and progress as your skills grow. We provide PPE, a toolkit, tool loan, and a long-term career path in a resilient industry, with area managers to support you.

Qualifications

• Be reliable and punctual.
• 2nd year apprentice or pre-trade with experience.
• Good hand skills and ability to use tools.
• Driver's license with reliable transport to work.
• Clean criminal record.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests.
• NZ permanent resident or citizen.
• Completed electrical pre-trade.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical work across commercial and maintenance tasks.
• Assist qualified electricians on site.

We are looking for a 2nd year electrical apprentice, but will look at a pre trader with some practical experience.

We have an opportunity for a 2nd year electrical apprentice, or someone with a pre-trade with the right attitude, who is looking for a role that involves commercial and maintenance work.

You’ll need to:

• Be reliable - on time every time
• Be a 2nd year apprentice, or have a pre-trade with some job experience - whether that’s labouring experience, or holiday jobs
• Be good with your hands - you know how to use tools
• Have your driver’s license (Restricted or Full) with reliable transport to get to work
• Have a clean criminal record
• Be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests
• Be a NZ permanent resident or citizen
• Have completed an electrical pre-trade
