Job summary

ATT is seeking motivated individuals for electrical apprenticeships. You’ll start with paid training and progress as skills advance. Reliable, hands-on candidates with basic math/physics are preferred and a clean record is required. A driver’s license and NZ residency or citizenship are essential.

Successful apprentices gain long-term career opportunities, ongoing ATT support, and PPE gear supplied as you train with tradespeople.

Job description

We’re looking for intelligent, hands‑on candidates interested in Electrical apprenticeships in

ATT are the experts in apprenticeships - see http://www.ATT.org.nz,

You’ll need to:

• Be reliable – on time every time
• Have some job experience - whether that’s labouring experience, or holiday jobs
• Be good with your hands – you know how to use tools
• Have your driver’s license (Restricted or Full) with reliable transport to get to work
• Have a clean criminal record
• Be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests
• Be a NZ permanent resident or citizen
• Have an insight into the Electrical trade. Very good at math (at least NCEA L2) and preferably have studied physics. Maybe you have completed an electrical pre-trade course or have completed an Electrical gateway placement while at school (but this is not mandatory)
