Job summary

ATT is seeking intelligent, hands-on candidates for Electrical apprenticeships in New Zealand. You’ll train while earning a wage, with progression as skills grow, supported by ATT area managers.

Ideal candidates have math ability, electrical interest, a pre-trade or second-year status, a valid NZ driver's license, and the right to work in NZ. Training includes PPE, tool kit, and a clear career path in a growing industry.

Qualifications

• Must be NZ permanent resident or citizen
• Have driver’s license with reliable transport
• Experience with basic hand tools and able to follow instructions
• Able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests
• Mathematics ability, ideally NCEA Level 2, and physics knowledge
• Interest in electrical trade and willingness to learn

We're looking for intelligent, hands-on candidates interested in Electrical apprenticeships in

You’ll need to:

• Be reliable - on time every time
• Either a 2nd year or have a pre-trade and have some job experience - whether that's labouring experience, or holiday jobs
• Be good with your hands - you know how to use tools
• Have your driver's license (Restricted or Full) with reliable transport to get to work
• Have a clean criminal record
• Be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests
• Be a NZ permanent resident or citizen
• Have an insight into the Electrical trade. Very good at math (at least NCEA L2) and preferably have studied physics. Maybe you have completed an electrical pre-trade course or have completed an Electrical gateway placement while at school (but this is not mandatory)
