ATT in New Zealand invites applicants for electrical apprenticeships in Canterbury. You’ll be trained on the tools and processes used by skilled tradespeople, with pay that increases as skills improve and as you gain experience.

To qualify, you should be reliable, have a driver’s license, a clean record, NZ residency, and a good math foundation. This role offers long-term career prospects in a growing industry.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual for all shifts and training sessions.
• Have a driver's license (Restricted or Full) with reliable transport.
• NZ permanent resident or citizen with a clean criminal record.
• Insight into the Electrical trade; strong math ability (NCEA L2 or higher).
• Willingness to learn through an electrical pre-trade or gateway placement (advantage).

Responsabilités

• Attend structured electrical apprenticeship training and complete hands-on tasks.
• Work with qualified tradespeople and progress through skill levels.
• Adhere to safety rules, PPE requirements and site procedures.

We’re looking for intelligent, hands-on candidates interested in Electrical apprenticeships in

You’ll need to:

• Be reliable - on time every time
• Have some job experience - whether that’s labouring experience, or holiday jobs
• Be good with your hands - you know how to use tools
• Have your driver’s license (Restricted or Full) with reliable transport to get to work
• Have a clean criminal record
• Be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests
• Be a NZ permanent resident or citizen
• Have an insight into the Electrical trade. Very good at math (at least NCEA L2) and preferably have studied physics. Maybe you have completed an electrical pre-trade course or have completed an Electrical gateway placement while at school (but this is not mandatory)
