Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Regional Operations Manager to lead store operations across the Eastern Cape from Queenstown. You will drive sales growth, optimize profitability, and uphold brand standards while managing regional teams and budgets.

The role requires a strong retail ops background, strategic mindset, and the ability to deliver customer-centric experiences across outlets. Extensive travel across the region is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years in retail operations management, with at least 3 in regional or multi-unit leadership.
• Proven track record of improving performance across multiple stores and managing costs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Eastern Cape.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional operational strategies to maximize sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction in the Eastern Cape.
• Oversee the performance of multiple retail stores, ensuring adherence to company standards in merchandising, operations, and customer service.
• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of store managers and regional staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Monitor KPIs for the region and stores, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure inventory management, loss prevention, and operational efficiency across locations.
• Drive adoption of new initiatives, promotions, and operational changes region-wide.
• Conduct regular store visits and performance reviews with store management.
• Manage regional budgets, control expenses, and identify cost-optimization opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
• Act as liaison between corporate HQ and stores in the region.
