Placements24 is seeking a Regional Retail Coordinator to support retail operations across key locations, including Queenstown. The role serves as a liaison between head office and stores, ensuring brand execution, operational efficiency, and effective communication.

Travel between store locations is required to meet regional needs. You will assist with store openings, implement visual merchandising directives, coordinate staff training, and monitor performance across the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail operations or a related coordination role.
• Strong understanding of retail best practices, visual merchandising, and inventory management.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with retail management software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse teams.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the assigned region, including Queenstown.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a tertiary qualification in Business or Retail Management is an advantage.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of new store openings and store refurbishments.
• Ensure consistent implementation of visual merchandising standards and brand guidelines across all stores.
• Coordinate and support the delivery of staff training programs and operational procedures.
• Monitor store performance metrics and operational compliance, providing feedback and support to store managers.
• Act as the primary point of contact for store teams regarding operational queries and directives.
• Assist in the management of regional stocktakes and inventory control initiatives.
• Support the roll-out of new products, promotions, and marketing campaigns in stores.
• Conduct regular store visits to assess operational standards and provide on-the-ground support.
• Gather market intelligence and competitor activity reports from the region.
• Facilitate effective communication between head office departments and store teams in the Queenstown area.
