Job summary

CHEP New Zealand is seeking a hands-on Dispatch & Administration Coordinator in Hastings. The role combines administration, dispatch coordination and operational support within a small team, including bin washing and stock handling.

You’ll work with a Supervisor to manage inbound/outbound stock, support drivers and customers, and maintain records in a fast-paced environment. Training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience with SAP or MEX or similar ERP systems is helpful.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate dispatch activities and inbound receipt of product.
• Support drivers, customers and transport providers.
• Assist with inventory management and investigations of gains/losses.
• Complete administrative tasks including system updates, filing and maintaining training records.
• Use SAP and MEX to support operational activities.
• Perform bin washing operations when required.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth site operations.
