Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Rental Operations Agent at Blenheim Airport for a part-time role of 20 hours per week with evening shifts. You will handle customer interactions, rentals, contracts, and bookings, while ensuring vehicle readiness and maintenance checks.

You will also inspect vehicles, drive as needed, and assist with parking and wash bay duties. Training is provided and discounts apply across Avis Budget Group brands.

Qualifications

• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver's licence is essential.
• Experience within retail, hospitality or customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to input rental information.
• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards.

Best of both world where you are not just sitting behind a desk all day! Based at Blenheim Airport, we have a Part-Time, 20-hours per week position available for someone who has exceptional customer service skills and isn't afraid of hard work.

• 20-hours per week position available

We operate 7 days a week, and are looking for someone to cover our evening shift:

• Monday 15.00 - 20.30
• Thursday 15.00 - 20.30
• Friday 15.00 - 20.30
• Saturday 12.30 - 18.00

About The Role

As what we call a Rental Operations Agent you will be involved in all aspects of our business! This varied role covers both our front and back of house operations. On the counter you will be interacting with our customers, marketing products and services, completing rental transactions, contracts, and bookings.

On the other hand, you will be inspecting vehicles for damages and maintenance issues, driving, and parking our cars as well as cleaning vehicles (interior and exterior) in the wash bay so they are ready for our customers.

What We Are Looking For
