Job summary

United Rentals New Zealand is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support customers throughout their rental journey, acting as the first point of contact for Mobile Storage clients and ensuring outstanding service and accurate hire transactions.

You will build strong relationships, respond to enquiries, prepare quotes and contracts, and coordinate equipment movements to deliver an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in customer service, administration, or a similar role.
• Strong communication skills with a genuine passion for customer service.
• Confidence building relationships and identifying sales opportunities.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong computer literacy and experience using business systems, including CRM or ERP system.
• Experience within the equipment rental, construction, industrial, or related industries will be highly regarded.
• A positive, team-oriented approach and commitment to workplace safety.

About the Role

We're looking for a customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team and play a key role in supporting customers throughout their rental journey. As the first point of contact for many of our Mobile Storage division customers, you'll provide outstanding service, process enquiries and hire transactions, build strong customer relationships, and help drive branch growth. This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and contributing to a high-performing team.
