Job summary

Hirepool is seeking a Customer/Service Person to help ensure our equipment is fit for hire and to advise customers in-branch and over the phone on the right tools for their projects. Training and development are provided, with no prior industry experience required beyond a positive, can-do attitude and teamwork.

You’ll learn about tools and machinery, assist with reservations and contracts, and support a busy yard. Roles available in 1x Waltham, 3x Harewood, 1x Hornby, Canterbury.

Qualifications

• Full Class 1 Driver's Licence (other classes and endorsements an advantage)
• Experience with tools and machinery would be a strong advantage
• Basic to intermediate computer skills
• Happy to work on a rostered basis including weekends

• Maintain and keep the yard clean and organised

Customer/ Service Person

• 5 Positions; 1x Waltham, 3x Harewood and 1x Hornby

As a Customer/Service Person your role will be to help ensure our equipment is fit for hire (a really important part of what we do!) and provide advice and support to customers over the phone and in-branch on what equipment is right for their project. As a market leader in the hire industry, we'll support your training and development on the job so prior industry experience is not a requirement. All we ask is that you have a positive, can-do attitude and be a team player who's happy to pitch in wherever required.

You will also be someone who enjoys working with tools and machinery, provide great service to our customers, and have a keen interest in developing their existing skills and experience into a career.
