Rushmore Distributors (NZ) is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Albany, Auckland team. You will load customer orders, answer technical product queries, and support our sales and marketing colleagues to ensure orders progress smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years' experience in a dynamic customer service environment, with fast and accurate data entry skills, and a background in electrical or datacomms is advantageous.

Qualifications

About the role

A Customer Service Representative is a key role in the company, responsible for providing fast and professional service to internal and external customers. Being the primary touch point for our business, a Customer Service Representative supports our customers by loading customer orders, answering technical product queries, and answering order queries.

This position is part of a larger Customer Service Team basedinAlbany, Auckland, with working hours of 0900 to 1730 Monday to Friday.

Daily Responsibilities

Loading customer sales orders.

Liaising with customers regarding the status of their orders.

Liaising with marketing, sales and supply chain teams to ensure orders are processed efficiently and effectively.

Supporting customers with product and technical solutions to solve their requirements.

Providing technical advice and support for customers.

Preparing quotations for customers.

Supporting our external sales team in the field.

What You Will Bring

You will be a New Zealand Citizen or have permanent working rights to work in New Zealand.

2-3 years’ experience in a dynamic customer service environment, with fast and accurate data entry skills.

A technical customer service or support background, i.e. in the electrical or datacomms industry, is extremely advantageous.

Strong attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and time manage, maintaining composure in a fast-paced customer service environment.

Enthusiastic, self-motivated with a "can do" attitude.
