Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in a dynamic customer service environment.
• Experience in electrical or data communications industry is advantageous.

• Strong communication and time-management skills.

About the role

A Customer Service Representative is a key role in the company, responsible for providing fast and professional service to internal and external customers. Being the primary touch point for our business, a Customer Service Representative supports our customers by loading customer orders, answering technical product queries, and answering order queries.

This position is part of a larger Customer Service Team basedinAlbany, Auckland, with working hours of 0900 to 1730 Monday to Friday.

Daily Responsibilities

• Loading customer sales orders.
• Liaising with customers regarding the status of their orders.
• Liaising with marketing, sales and supply chain teams to ensure orders are processed efficiently and effectively.
• Supporting customers with product and technical solutions to solve their requirements.
• Providing technical advice and support for customers.
• Preparing quotations for customers.
• Supporting our external sales team in the field.

What You Will Bring

• You will be a New Zealand Citizen or have permanent working rights to work in New Zealand.
• 2-3 years’ experience in a dynamic customer service environment, with fast and accurate data entry skills.
• A technical customer service or support background, i.e. in the electrical or datacomms industry, is extremely advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and time manage, maintaining composure in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated with a "can do" attitude.
